About the Role

Kamatics Corporation is seeking a highly skilled CNC Machinist III - Spherical to join our team at our Bloomfield facility. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for operating and adjusting semi-automatic numerically controlled machine tools to perform a series of progressive machining operations on repetitive work to close and exacting tolerances and finish specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and adjust semi-automatic numerically controlled machine tools to perform machining operations on repetitive work.
  • Check parts for conformance to specifications and perform all responsibilities within productivity and quality expectations.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following safety and environmental procedures and regulations.
  • Make recommendations for improvements to work processes and contribute to a positive teamwork environment.
  • Provide a high level of service to internal and external customers.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Machining training certificate preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CNC Machinist II or minimum of 2 years manufacturing experience as a CNC machinist.
  • Understanding of common GD&T restraints such as runout, concentricity, and parallelism.
  • Proficient in use of shop math and familiar with computer numerically controlled machine tool operating procedures.
