Position Overview:

The Precision CNC Machinist will operate a range of machinery, including advanced 5-axis mill/turn centers and horizontal lathes. The 2nd and 3rd shifts come with a shift differential of 20-25%.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate machines with precision and efficiency.
  • Interpret operation sheets and technical blueprints.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and accurately measure finished products.
  • Foster effective working relationships with colleagues, supervisors, and other team members.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED is mandatory; post-secondary education in CNC machining is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in CNC machine operation.
  • Familiarity with Okuma controls is advantageous.
  • Understanding of G & M codes is essential.
  • Strong verbal communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Attention to detail and capability to manage complex tasks.
  • Able to thrive in a customer-oriented, deadline-sensitive environment while maintaining a positive demeanor.
  • Willingness to collaborate with engineering and programming teams to enhance operational efficiency.
