Job Title: Mortgage Loan Processing Specialist

At Digital Risk, we are seeking a highly skilled Mortgage Loan Processing Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our loan processing team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of loan documentation duties on complex loan packages and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures for loan products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage an assigned pipeline of 31 plus loans on a daily and weekly basis
  • Reviews loans in process daily and determines what is needed to process loans quickly
  • Verifies W2 Income approval conditions and clears routine title
  • Review loans to ensure loan/property meets investor guidelines
  • Main point of Customer Contact to gather supporting documentation to prepare the loan for Underwriting
  • Provides follow-up on a consistent basis with customers during the loan processing period
  • Analyzes loan files and submits completed loan packages for approval to underwriting
  • Responds to inquiries from customers, advisors and vendor partners regarding status of loans in process
  • Maintains status of all files in process and updates as needed; keeps abreast of Investor guidelines and changes that may affect loan status
  • Ensures regulatory compliance
  • Maintain daily workflow prioritization to ensure pipeline management meets required closing dates
  • Order all required verifications, documentation and subsequent follow-ups and ensures all timeframes and compliance requirements are being met
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal and external clients by demonstrating expertise, thoroughness, thoughtfulness, politeness and enthusiasm
  • Ensure customer service surveys maintain the rating level designated by management
  • Communicate with all parties involved in the transaction to keep them informed of file status
  • Review and analyze all necessary documentation, including borrower docs and third-party docs
  • Interpret policies while analyzing applicant information, property and documentation
Requirements:
  • 4+ years of Loan Processing experience dealing with high volume
  • Thorough working knowledge of real estate documentation, policies, compliance and procedures
  • Proficient in mortgage loan processing
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Able to prioritize multiple competing tasks and manage time effective in a fast paced environment
  • Acute attention to detail
  • Proficient on computer programs required for position
  • Adheres to directives, procedures and standards
  • Ability to work in a paperless environment
  • Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office Product Suite
  • Good computer knowledge; paperless environment
  • Candidates must be available to work outside of normal business hours when necessary
