COMPENSATION: $18.74/hour plus an additional $2.00 per hour for weekend shifts

AVAILABLE SHIFTS:

Weekend Shifts: 2 daytime, 7 evening, and 2 overnight shifts

Weekday Shifts:

Early Morning: 2 shifts (6am-9am)

Evening: 9 shifts with various start times (2pm, 3pm, 4pm)

Awake Overnight: 2 shifts

This role as a part-time Community Support Specialist in our Community Living Department is designed for individuals who are passionate about creating inclusive and supportive residential settings. Our focus is on empowering individuals to thrive and reach their full potential.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES: As a Community Support Specialist, you will assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their journey towards a fulfilling life. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting residents with daily living skills and household tasks, including meal planning, preparation, laundry, and light cleaning.
  • Assisting with personal care and administering medications as required.
  • Providing transportation for residents when necessary.

WORK SCHEDULE: We are looking for candidates to fill a variety of shifts throughout the week and weekends.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Basic computer skills.

  • Willingness to complete required training, including CPR, First Aid, and Certified Medication Technician courses.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to lift and manipulate at least 50 pounds frequently, with occasional lifting of over 100 pounds.
  • Capability to stand for extended periods and perform tasks involving bending, stooping, reaching, and pushing.
  • Ability to assist individuals with mobility needs, including transferring them safely between locations.
