Job Summary:

Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavioral Support Specialist to join our team. As a Behavioral Support Specialist, you will work one-on-one with children with developmental delays, challenging behaviors, and Autism, providing individualized support and guidance to help them achieve their goals.

Responsibilities:

* Assist children in developing social skills, communication skills, and managing repetitive or restrictive behaviors
* Document child progress and milestones
* Collaborate with Board Certified Behavior Analysts to implement behavior change plans

Requirements:

* Passion for working with children with special needs
* Strong communication skills
* High School diploma or equivalent required
* Completion of college coursework in psychology, education, social work, behavioral science, human development, or a minimum of one year experience working with children in a related capacity
