Position Title: Assistant Store Manager

Reports To: Store Manager

Role Summary:

The Assistant Store Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the efficient shipment of products to and from the TPH Holdings LLC distribution centers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the shipping and receiving processes of merchandise
  • Prepare and fulfill customer orders for timely delivery
  • Conduct inventory checks and cycle counts
  • Coordinate schedules for contract drivers based on operational needs
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints
  • Perform store opening and closing procedures
  • Handle cash transactions, including cash counts and deposits
  • Stock and retrieve parts as needed
  • Answer incoming calls
  • Maintain cleanliness of the store and front counter
  • Ensure the warehouse is tidy and uphold a safe working environment

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in a retail setting
  • Strong motivation to deliver exceptional customer service
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening

Physical and Environmental Requirements:

This position typically involves a 9-hour workday that includes reaching, standing, walking, kneeling, lifting, and carrying. The employee must be capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment, with the potential for heavy lifting of 50 lbs or more.
