Job Summary

The Retail Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of all assigned dispensaries in their region. This includes managing personnel, inventory, sales goals, and bonus targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage dispensary cash flow, staff, schedules, inventory, and customer relations.
  • Serve as a role model and resource for General Managers and staff concerning products and services, policies and procedures, industry news, and changes in regulations.
  • Coordinate with the corporate retail team to ensure accurate information is communicated to dispensary staff.
  • Identify, plan, and delegate responsibilities to the General Manager(s) and/or store-level team to ensure a smooth flow of operations within the company.
  • Create implementation plans to achieve both operational efficiency and optimal results.
  • Solicit feedback to understand customer needs and the needs of the community.
  • Provide regional inventory, sales, and profitability reports to the corporate retail team.
  • Maintain and be responsible for accurate records of all dispensary activities, including cash reconciliations, customer records, sales, deliveries, and returns, in accordance with IL laws and regulations.
  • Partner with Human Resources and Talent Acquisition business partners to plan and execute staffing requirements.
  • Identify ways to reduce turnover rate within their locations and create a safe and positive work environment.
  • Assist in the interviewing process and candidate selection.
Requirements
  • At least 21 years of age.
  • High school degree or general education degree (GED) is required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Store Manager in retail or hospitality required.
  • Demonstrated passion to serving the adult cannabis community.
  • Proven ability to manage teams effectively.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Understanding of accounting principles and ability to interpret financial data.
  • Computer operating skills.
  • Must be able to pass a background check.
  • Experience analyzing financial reports.
  • Strong operational skills in a customer-service environment.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
  • Working knowledge of business processes and system development.
