POSITION SUMMARY

The Financial Operations Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the collection of various revenue streams from tenants and performing a range of data entry and reporting tasks for a designated portfolio of retail properties.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Revenue Management:

Execute a variety of revenue management tasks for a specified portfolio, including rent collection and the calculation of percentage rents, ensuring the prompt collection of all revenue types.


Data Entry for Short-Term Leases:

Responsible for entering cash receipts and other revenue-related data into Yardi, along with short-term lease details, to maintain accurate records of receivables and transactions.


Tenant Relations:

Regularly engage with tenants to reconcile outstanding accounts and address any rent-related concerns, ensuring timely collection of overdue rents and resolution of issues.


Reporting Functions:

Generate a variety of reports, including monthly sales figures, income variance reports, and occupancy statistics, to provide management with reliable data for informed decision-making.


Budgeting Assistance:

Support the budgeting and forecasting processes to accurately project future tenant revenues.


Administrative Support:

Provide general administrative assistance, including answering phones, sorting mail, and preparing purchase orders, to ensure the smooth operation of office tasks and support various team members.


ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications:
  • College or Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Commerce, Business Administration)
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in the real estate sector
  • Understanding of fundamental accounting principles
  • Proficient in MS Office applications
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage confidential information
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with Yardi software is advantageous
