RN Hospital Weekender Flex

Cleveland Clinic is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Hospital Weekender Flex RN. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our patients and their families.
Responsibilities- Provide Direct Patient Care: Implement and monitor patient care plans, monitor and record patient conditions, and administer prescribed medications and treatments.
- Coordinate Patient Care: Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care, assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs, and assess educational needs of the patient and significant others.
- Communicate Effectively: Provide teaching and educational material as appropriate, validate and document patient and family understanding of teaching, and maintain professional growth and development through ongoing formal and informal education and clinical nursing study.
- Work in a Team Environment: Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care, and work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
- Education: Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing, BSN preferred.
- Certifications: Current state licensure as Registered Nurse (RN), Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association (AHA), and other certifications as required by the facility.
- Work Experience: Minimum one year current acute care RN experience in a hospital setting required for acute care settings.
- Physical Demands: Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting patient, manual and finger dexterity, and eye-hand coordination, standing and walking for extended periods of time, and corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
