Requirements
To qualify for this role, you'll need to meet the following requirements:

  • Doctor of medicine or doctor of osteopathy degree from an accredited U.S. school of medicine or osteopathy
  • Foreign graduates may apply if they have a permanent certificate from the Educational Council of Foreign Medical Graduates
  • Current license to practice medicine in the United States, District of Columbia, or Puerto Rico
  • Eligibility for board certification
  • Completion of at least one year of an approved Graduate Medical Education (GME) internship
  • Completion of a training program in pulmonary disease
  • Between 21 and 42 years of age (may request a waiver)
  • U.S. citizenship

The estimated salary for this role is around $250,000 per annum, although this may vary depending on your level of experience and qualifications.
