Summary

The Restaurant Operations Lead is responsible for guiding and overseeing the restaurant team, ensuring a positive and productive work environment that prioritizes guest satisfaction. This role collaborates closely with the Food & Beverage Director and Banquet Manager to optimize operational efficiency.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain adherence to established policies and procedures within the food and beverage departments.
  • Provide comprehensive training, coaching, and support to team members involved in all aspects of F&B operations.
  • Monitor performance levels and recommend appropriate actions for improvement.
  • Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly and effectively, resolving any issues that arise.
  • Oversee cash handling procedures, ensuring compliance with established check/credit policies.
  • Conduct pre-shift meetings to inform staff of daily events and operational priorities.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment and promote a culture of quality service.
  • Actively engage with guests by providing food and beverage service, as well as supporting other F&B departments when needed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent education.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Food & Beverage industry.
  • Proven restaurant experience is essential.
  • Prior hotel experience is beneficial.
  • Strong organizational and attention to detail skills.
  • Exceptional customer service orientation.
