Responsibilities:

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of four years of shipboard repair experience, preferably in a public or private shipyard.
• Proven experience in managing technical personnel and complex projects.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to interact with customers, team members, and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project, and other relevant software.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Working Relationships:

The Area Manager will report to the Director of Programs and maintain professional relationships with Teaming Partners and Subcontractors. Strong interpersonal skills are essential for this role, with the ability to interact with and manage others effectively.

Accountability:

The Area Manager is accountable for providing independent, complex analysis, concept formulation, and new method identification. They will maintain overall responsibility for project budgets and schedules, ensuring timely completion and adherence to company standards.
