Overview:
CommonSpirit Health is seeking a part-time (0.6FTE) Clinic Medical Assistant for our Franciscan Cardiovascular Associates in Silverdale, WA. As a member of our patient-centered team, you will provide care and support to patients under the direction of a physician or mid-level provider.

Key Responsibilities:
Greet and prepare patients for their visit by obtaining and recording vital signs and other information
Assist with diagnostic tests and clinical procedures, such as blood draws and injections
Administer medications and vaccinations
Manage patient flow and ensure enough time for patient and family education
Prepare and sterilize instruments and maintain equipment and patient care areas clean and orderly
Schedule patient appointments and perform other administrative duties as needed

About Your Position:
As a Medical Assistant, you will work as a member of a care team to provide care and support to patients. Your daily responsibilities will include greeting and preparing patients for their visit, assisting with diagnostic tests and clinical procedures, and managing patient flow. You will also be responsible for preparing and sterilizing instruments and maintaining equipment and patient care areas clean and orderly. Additionally, you will schedule patient appointments and perform other administrative duties as needed.

Qualifications:
Graduate of medical assisting program
Successfully completed Medication Aide 40-hour course or current/valid
Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
High school diploma or equivalent
