Maintenance Technician

About the Maintenance Technician Position:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Avenue5 Residential. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance functions, including repairs to electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems, as well as general carpentry duties.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairs and replacements of appliances, fixtures, and equipment.
- Conduct inspections of property grounds, buildings, and common areas to identify maintenance needs.
- Assist with emergency situations, such as snow removal and inclement weather emergencies.
- Communicate effectively with maintenance leadership and residents to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on industry best practices.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- At least one year of experience in the property management industry or directly related field.
- Ability to read, write, and understand English.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively.
