Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Beverage Operations Manager to join our team at Marriott. As a key member of our food and beverage team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our beverage services, including restaurants, bars, and room service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Beverage Operations: Ensure compliance with all food and beverage policies, standards, and procedures by training, supervising, and monitoring staff performance.
  • Lead the Beverage Team: Train staff on liquor control policies and procedures, supervise staffing levels, and ensure that guest service, operational needs, and financial objectives are met.
  • Provide Exceptional Customer Service: Interact with guests to obtain feedback on product quality and service levels, respond effectively to guest problems and complaints, and empower employees to provide excellent customer service.
  • Manage Human Resource Activities: Support a departmental orientation program for employees, participate in the development and implementation of corrective action plans, and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED; 4 years of experience in the food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area, or 2-year degree from an accredited university in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major; 2 years of experience in the food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Strong leadership and management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and knowledge of food and beverage operations, including liquor control policies and procedures.
