Job Summary

Responsibilities
  • Set up and clear dining rooms, including tables, chairs, and linens.
  • Provide food and water to guests, ensuring a high level of service and attention to detail.
  • Maintain a clean and organized dining area, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Handle soiled dishes and flatware, and provide a clean supply to the dining room.
  • Complete pre-shift and post-shift side work, including stocking areas with supplies.
  • Provide expeditious service to each guest, ensuring water glasses are full throughout the meal.
  • Follow all standard food handling, sanitation, and health department guidelines.
  • Report any accidents or unsafe conditions to management.
Qualifications
  • Prior food service and hospitality experience is highly desirable.
  • Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation, hotel service standards, and guest relations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to exceptional guest satisfaction.
  • Ability to perform basic math skills, such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Must have a valid current Food Handlers Card or willingness and ability to obtain one within 30 days of employment.
