PRIMARY OBJECTIVE:
The Advanced Production Technician is responsible for executing various tasks related to the fabrication of architectural components, including EIFS wall systems and exterior panel assemblies.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Adhere to the daily production agenda established by the Production Supervisor.
  2. Apply adhesive mesh to components manually.
  3. Prepare base coats and finishes using electric drills and paddles.
  4. Collaborate with team members to operate extrusion machinery effectively.
  5. Utilize trowels for base coat application and finishing touches.
  6. Construct and pour molds for cast stone products.
  7. Trim components using cutting tools.
  8. Conduct final sanding and touch-ups on products.
  9. Assist in the creation of custom crates tailored to project specifications.
  10. Organize and prepare components for distribution.
  11. Support shipping and receiving operations.
  12. Comply with all safety protocols.
  13. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the production area.
  14. Participate in monthly inventory assessments.
  15. Safely operate power tools and equipment.
  16. Cut mesh rolls and Fedderlite channels to designated lengths.

Utilize basic work orders and complete necessary documentation related to material usage and production activities. Engage in entry-level plastering tasks, including minor touch-ups and basic coatings. Conduct quality assurance checks and utilize tracking systems for production progress and inventory management. Independently set up and operate extrusion machinery, taking a leadership role in project tasks. Demonstrate journeyman-level plastering skills, capable of applying various base coats and finishes. Identify and troubleshoot production issues as they arise, providing data for process improvement. Consistently address safety concerns and mentor less experienced team members.


EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
A formal educational background is not mandatory; however, a High School Diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
2-4 years of relevant work experience is required, with a preference for backgrounds in construction, manufacturing, or related fields. Experience in the aluminum panel or window sector is advantageous.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
The hourly wage for this position typically ranges from $20.50 to $24.92, depending on qualifications and operational needs.
