Position Summary

As a Senior Culinary Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing culinary functions within our healthcare facilities. This position is designed for individuals who are passionate about culinary excellence and leadership. You will ensure that all food production meets high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain superior culinary standards for all dining operations, including retail and catering.
  • Provide mentorship and training to the culinary team, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
  • Champion initiatives related to Corporate Social Responsibility, focusing on health, wellness, and seasonal ingredients.
  • Monitor and analyze operational performance, implementing strategies for continuous improvement.
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of menu items and effectively communicate them to guests.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Food Services Management or a related field is advantageous.
  • A minimum of three to five years of progressive experience in culinary management.
  • Experience in planning and executing catering events from a culinary perspective.
  • Strong leadership capabilities and a desire to excel in a dynamic environment.
  • Thorough understanding of food trends, quality control, and cost management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
  • Effective communication skills across various levels of the organization.
  • ServSafe Certification is a plus.
