Marine Operations Specialist

Foss Maritime is seeking a skilled and experienced Marine Operations Specialist to join our Ocean Fleet team. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our tugboats and barges.
Responsibilities:
Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on tugboats and barges
Operate and maintain various types of equipment, including winches, pumps, and compressors
Assist with loading and unloading cargo
Participate in safety inspections and drills
Collaborate with other crew members to achieve team goals
Requirements:
1 year of experience working on a tugboat or barge
Valid passport and Merchant Mariners Document (MMD) or Merchant Mariners Credential (MMC)
Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Basic digital literacy and knowledge of Microsoft Office
