Sales Development Representative

Raptor Technologies is a leading provider of school safety software, and we're seeking a talented Sales Development Representative to join our team. In this role, you'll play a critical part in driving revenue growth and expanding our customer base.
About the Role:
This is an entry-level position with a dedicated growth path and training opportunities to help you succeed as a software sales professional. You'll work closely with our marketing team to generate leads and qualify inbound inquiries, while also engaging prospects in an outbound capacity. As a Sales Development Representative, you'll be responsible for building relationships with customers, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions to meet those needs.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to and qualify inbound customer inquiries
- Actively engage prospects in an outbound capacity
- Manage and respond to inbound inquiries via online chat, scheduled meeting times, and inbound phone channels
- Generate outbound pipeline through use of alternating cadences
- Prepare and deliver weekly and monthly updates to sales leaders
- Work directly with marketing to discover opportunities from leads and set appointments from those leads

Requirements:
- Four-year college degree from an accredited institution
- Strong in-person, phone, and written customer communication skills
- Ability to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization
- Understanding of workflow systems and their application to customer business process improvement
- Ability to make formal and informal presentations to staff and clients
- Prior track record of achievement in positions with significant accountability
- Interested in pursuing a career in technology
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment
