- Installation and Testing: Install and test new customer services in residential or business locations.
- Fiber Splicing: Perform fiber splicing tasks.
- Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and resolve network outages and issues.
- Outdoor Work: Perform job responsibilities outdoors in different weather conditions.
- Heightened Work Environment: Climb and work at elevations exceeding 18 feet.
- Network Diagrams and Instructions: Read and interpret Network Diagrams and/or detailed instructions.
- Company Vehicle Operation: Operate a company vehicle in accordance with safe driving practices.
- Collaboration: Work with Engineering, Technical Support, and Service Delivery to complete installations and service calls.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service.
- Fiber Optic and Cat6 Cable Installation Experience: Two (2) years of experience in Fiber Optic and Cat6 Cable Installation (Preferred).
- Wireless Equipment Configuration: Experience preferred but not necessary, configuring wireless equipment such as Ubiquiti, Cambium, and Nokia.
- Fiber Optic Cable Handling: Experience with installing and handling various fiber optic cable types, including single mode and multimode.
- Confined Space Work: Willingness to work in confined spaces, if necessary.
- Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail and adherence to established standards.
- Safety and Quality: Powerful sense of accountability for safety, quality, and productivity.
- Flexibility: Openness and availability to work flexible long hours, based on project requirements.
- Physical Demands: Able to lift up to 50lbs and can carry a ladder.
- Driver's License: Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
