The ideal candidate will possess substantial experience in programming and operating CNC machinery, including routing, laser cutting, and both 3-axis and 5-axis machining systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and refine CNC programs for routing, laser cutting, and machining equipment in accordance with engineering specifications and production demands.
  • Operate and supervise CNC machinery, ensuring the fabrication of components meets specified standards.
  • Conduct routine inspections of machined parts to confirm compliance with design specifications and quality benchmarks.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to CNC machinery, including malfunctions, tooling complications, or programming discrepancies.
  • Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to address technical challenges and reduce equipment downtime.
  • Continuously assess and enhance machining processes to boost efficiency, productivity, and quality.
  • Propose and implement improvements, such as tooling upgrades, programming adjustments, or workflow enhancements.
  • Maintain accurate production logs and documentation of CNC programs, machine configurations, and production metrics.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and practices to ensure a secure working environment.

Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience as a CNC Machining Specialist, particularly in routing, laser cutting, and machining operations.
  • Preferred technical or vocational training with a focus on CNC machining.
  • Expertise in programming CNC machinery using industry-standard software, including G-code, enroute, or CAM applications.
  • Knowledge of routing, laser cutting, and machining techniques, including material selection, feed rates, and toolpath optimization.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications accurately.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively address technical challenges.
  • Capacity to make informed decisions under pressure and adapt to unforeseen circumstances.
  • Detail-oriented approach to work, ensuring precision and accuracy in machining tasks.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Commitment to safety standards and maintaining a secure work environment.
