Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Costume Department Coordinator to join our team at Netflix Tires Season 2. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the costume department, ensuring seamless communication and coordination with the design team, accounting, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Organization & Scheduling
    • Establish and maintain a shared drive for the costume department to facilitate information sharing.
    • Create and manage a departmental calendar to support scheduling for preparation, shooting, and wrapping.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with rental houses and wardrobe supply houses to support the design team.
    • Record and communicate all scheduled fittings to relevant parties.
    • Manage craft services for the office to ensure snacks and drinks are available as needed.
    • Track shopping receipts and maintain a digital spreadsheet to monitor spending against the budget.
    • Schedule and manage returns to ensure timely delivery.
  • Budget & Returns Management
    • Monitor and document all incoming purchases, including store location, cost, purchase date, and payment method.
    • Organize pickups from shoppers and track returns.
    • Collect and submit all receipts from individuals with company credit cards.
    • Check-in and track all rentals, and handle returns.
    • Process and submit all purchase orders and cash envelopes.
    • Communicate daily duties to production assistants as directed by the design team.
  • Crew Time Management
    • Track time spent by the team to ensure accurate and timely payment.
    • Manage entries to daily time sheets for office staff.
    • Enter weekly time cards for all office staff.
  • Clearance
    • Collaborate with the assistant costume designer to submit, manage, and track clearance requests to the studio.
    Requirements
    • Experience in a coordinator role in a production or costume department.
    • Proficiency in Google Drive, Sheets, and Excel.
    • Strong budget management skills, with experience managing budgets for at least one full season or feature film.
