Job Title: Training Program Coordinator

Job Summary:

The Training Program Coordinator plays a vital role in the success of our Driver Training program by facilitating the application and selection process, assigning training-related work, managing training schedules, coordinating skills assessments for students and trainers, and overseeing the upgrade process for Phase 2 learners. This position also assists with travel arrangements for those exiting Phase 1 and Phase 2 of our training programs.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the training team to support the overall needs of the Training program function.
  • Facilitate the selection process for Driver Trainers, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience.
  • Administer the training process for Driver Trainers, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Schedule training for Phase 2 learners, taking into account their individual needs and requirements.
  • Administer the communication process for Driver Trainers, providing timely and effective updates.
  • Work with vendors and staff to achieve departmental and organizational goals.
  • Leverage internal systems to report training outcomes to the organization and stakeholders.
  • Plan and organize training events, ensuring a high-quality experience for all participants.
  • Aid in scheduling staff, driver trainers, learners, and courses, ensuring seamless coordination.
  • Organize and manage the department SharePoint site and any related future sites, maintaining a high level of organization and efficiency.
  • Perform other duties as required to support the Training program function.

Education, Skills, and Abilities:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail are essential for this role.
  • Strong ability to effectively communicate, both written and verbally, is necessary for success.
  • Strong interpersonal skills are required to build and maintain relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Flexibility and the ability to multitask are essential for this role.
  • Ability to prioritize functions and deal effectively and efficiently to meet deadlines is crucial.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft family of products is a plus.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed is required.
