Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Engineer to join our team at GE Aerospace. As a key member of our Compression Systems and Structures team, you will be responsible for the mechanical design, manufacture, and delivery of hardware used in the development testing of next-generation narrow body jet engines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with minimal supervision on the design and analysis of complex engine structures, applying sound engineering principles and following business standards, practices, procedures, and program requirements.
  • Share technical guidance and subject matter expertise to support the achievement of other team members working on complex tasks; coach others in the proper documentation of technical data generated for assigned hardware.
  • Create action plans, with support, to address issues/problems and provide strategy to fulfill technical and program requirements.
  • Contribute as a presenter or reviewer in technical and program reviews with internal and external customers.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering from an accredited university or college.
  • At least 5 additional years of experience in a Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering position.
  • Experience with design and analysis of complex mechanical components.
