Job Title: Development and Grants Supervisor

About the Role:

The Development and Grants Supervisor is a key member of our team, responsible for overseeing the implementation of our annual fundraising strategy and managing our grants program. This role requires a strong understanding of fundraising principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with our team to achieve our goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement annual fundraising campaigns, including events and appeals.
  • Identify, cultivate, and solicit individual, corporate, foundation, and government donors.
  • Manage our donor database, ensuring accuracy and regular updating.
  • Oversee the planning and production of publications to support fundraising activities.
  • Research and recommend new grant funding opportunities.
  • Supervise online giving platforms and track and monitor in-kind donations.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a master calendar of grant applications and reporting requirements.
  • Supervise entry and maintenance of program grant opportunities in our Salesforce database.

Requirements:

  • Five years of experience in development, fundraising, marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Team player with a willingness to adapt to situations.
  • Exceptionally detail-oriented with a proven track record of project management skills.
  • Self-motivated with a strong commitment to our mission.
