At Jewish Family Services of Western New York, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Career Services Manager to lead our employment program and staff. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our employment program, ensuring compliance with grant and funder guidelines, and identifying opportunities for program growth and expansion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and supervise a team of Career Services staff, providing coaching and support to ensure effective service delivery.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve employment outcomes and increase client self-sufficiency.
  • Build and maintain partnerships with employers, community organizations, and government agencies to expand job opportunities and resources for clients.
  • Manage grant compliance, ensuring that services, case notes, and files meet federal and state funder guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Community Services to meet reporting deadlines and ensure effective management of payment-based contracts.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, or combination of education and experience in the refugee, employment, human resources, or human services area.
  • 1-3 years of program management experience, with a background in career services, workforce development, or human resources.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to effectively work within an inclusive and culturally diverse environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain partnerships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong internet research and computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and web-based health information systems.
What We Offer:
  • Competitive salary range of $58,500 to $65,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
  • Benefits, including health insurance, accrued Paid Time Off (PTO), 401k retirement plan with company match, and 13+ observed holidays.
  • Reduced full-time work week of 35 hours and early close on Fridays.
