Job Summary

The Associate Director is a key member of the development team responsible for developing and managing strategic relationship management plans, programs, and events to cultivate prospects, students, and alumni. This role involves analyzing responses and outcomes to recommend changes and increase goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies for key leadership giving prospects
  • Manage a portfolio of approximately 150 prospects annually
  • Personally solicit gifts of $10K - $50K
  • Collaborate with the Major Gifts team to develop strategic relationships in major markets
  • Recruit, engage, train, and manage Reunion volunteers
  • Coordinate volunteer strategies with other development staff
Requirements
  • 4 years development, marketing, sales, or equivalent experience
  • Ability to travel 2-4 times per year
  • Proven experience developing leadership giving prospects
  • Experience managing volunteers and/or committees
  • Experience working collaboratively and in a team environment
