Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Loan Officer to join our team. As a Commercial Loan Officer, you will be responsible for servicing and collecting loans, meeting customer needs, and contributing to the bank's growth by effectively selling bank services outside Point Bank premises.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales and Marketing: Solicit, promote, market, and facilitate the overall sale of products of the bank to new and existing customers, with a focus on great, friendly, and professional customer service.
  • Loan Servicing: Evaluate, service, monitor, and administer loan products to commercial businesses, pursue commercial customers to maintain a high-quality loan and deposit portfolio, determine collateral values, and analyze data for approval within guidelines.
  • Cross-Selling Opportunities: Recognize and react to cross-selling opportunities, referring customers to appropriate personnel and providing information on a variety of accounts and services.
  • Community Involvement: Be involved in local community and events, identifying such events where there is the greatest potential to connect with potential commercial customers to develop leads.
  • Branch Operations: Assist with the professional appearance of the inside and outside of the Branch, report to the Facilities Manager of any maintenance, landscaping, or housekeeping needs, and attend all meetings and complete all training required to ensure regulatory compliance.
Requirements
  • Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and/or 3+ years of experience in the field or in a related area.
Working Conditions

Worker is subject to inside environmental conditions; protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes. Worker is subject to outside environmental conditions when traveling to visit customers and potential customers outside of the bank, or when traveling to required bank meetings and training sessions.
