Key Responsibilities:

  1. Transaction Management: Maintain accurate records of cash room transactions, including safe counts, toll vouchers, coupons, returned checks, coin orders, petty cash, IOUs, and key inventory.
  2. Customer Service: Ensure friendly, efficient, and professional customer service to internal and external customers.
  3. Compliance: Ensure compliance with established policies and procedures, including cash handling and security protocols.
  4. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of cash room transactions, including daily balances and reconciliations.
  5. Armored Car Pick-ups: Follow proper procedure for armored car pick-ups, including counting and verifying cash and other valuables.
  6. Bank Reconciliations: Review bank statements and reconcile cash room transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  7. Employee Support: Provide support to employees, including cashing out at the end of each shift and maintaining records of discrepancies.
  8. Break Sheets: Maintain accurate and up-to-date break sheets for employees.

Requirements:

  1. Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a cash handling or financial services environment.
  2. Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, employees, and customers.
  3. Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.

Work Environment:

The Cash Room Manager will work in a fast-paced environment, with moderate temperatures and occasional exposure to industrial vehicles and equipment. The ability to sit, stand, or walk for up to 4 hours without a break is required.
