The Opportunity


The Client Engagement & Success Management (CESM) team at Addepar oversees the entire post-sales journey of our clients.

Through strategic collaboration and guidance, CESM ensures that clients maximize the value derived from our platform, fostering adoption success, retention, and renewal.

This role has a significant impact on the company's growth trajectory.


The CESM Enterprise Team is responsible for managing some of our largest and most complex clients, including wirehouses, broker/dealers, banks, private banks, and trust companies.

As a trusted partner, you will gain a deep understanding of their business, including strategy, clientele, services, team dynamics, and technology, ultimately helping them enhance the value they receive from Addepar.


This position collaborates closely with the Account Manager, cross-functional R&D, and Services teams to facilitate change management and promote best practices in platform utilization.

You will advocate for the client internally, ensuring an exceptional experience while gathering feedback to inform the development of future client-centric solutions.

Your Responsibilities


Foster long-term relationships with your assigned client portfolio, engaging with key business executives, support teams, power users, and end-users who utilize the platform regularly.

Gain a comprehensive understanding of each client's objectives, business needs, and industry challenges, ensuring they leverage their Addepar solutions effectively to meet their internal and end-client requirements.

Provide strategic oversight throughout the client journey, encompassing implementation, adoption, optimization, growth, and renewal; ensure a smooth transition of knowledge and responsibilities as needed.

Develop success plans with clients, including mutually agreed objectives, timelines, and metrics.

Promote adoption and continuously educate clients on new features and monthly enhancements to the software.

Discuss opportunities for Addepar services, solutions, and best practices in a manner that influences both internal and external stakeholders, driving outcomes from pre-sales through post-sales engagement.

Assist in identifying new revenue opportunities for the Account Manager and participate in client proposals, including but not limited to:

  • Scoping new projects that may lead to additional service hours or packages.
  • Introducing other Addepar products/partners for cross-selling opportunities.
  • Understanding contractual commitments and potential for additional revenue.

Collaborate with the Account Manager to conduct business reviews, aligning on business priorities, optimization opportunities, and Addepar's product roadmap, while reviewing product usage and adoption insights.

Serve as the client's voice to Product, R&D, Support, Services, Marketing, and other areas, building strong relationships to ensure client success and consistent engagement.

Maintain a high level of client satisfaction and reference-ability by accurately diagnosing client operations and recommending suitable solutions and services.

Share Addepar client success stories and frameworks, while developing and maintaining technical and business knowledge of industry trends.

Who You Are


You possess 2+ years of experience in client-facing, client success, or strategic roles within financial or wealth management services firms, such as wirehouses, broker/dealers, banks, private banks, or consulting firms; experience with technical products is preferred.

You have a proven ability to translate business needs into effective technical utilization of product solutions.

Your strong analytical skills enable you to bring discipline, thoroughness, and a structured approach to processes and operations.

You are knowledgeable about technology, allowing you to engage credibly with R&D teams and clients at all organizational levels.

You have a history of success in roles such as consultant, strategist, or technical account manager, driving organizational change and adoption efforts.

You excel at building and maintaining relationships with senior executives and key decision-makers, demonstrating executive presence and the ability to navigate complex organizational structures.

You have experience managing large, sophisticated projects or programs, preferably within a large enterprise context.

You can effectively handle challenging client situations and demonstrate successful resolutions.

Your communication skills, both verbal and written, are strong, and you possess excellent time management and prioritization abilities.

You thrive in collaborative team environments and can work cross-functionally across Addepar.

You are independent, adaptable, and capable of excelling in a fast-paced setting.

Willingness to travel is required, and proficiency in additional languages such as Spanish or Portuguese is a plus.
