We are seeking a highly skilled Safety and Customer Service Coordinator to join our team at First Student. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing operational oversight and day-to-day management of our routes. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the safe and reliable transportation of our students, while also providing exceptional customer service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide operational oversight and day-to-day management of routes
  • Ensure the safe and reliable transportation of students
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients
  • Assist drivers in safe operation of routes
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of buses
  • Assist students in loading and unloading process
  • Cooperate and communicate with school personnel, students, and parents
  • Attend all safety and training meetings

Requirements:

  • Good verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Early morning availability
  • Judgement/problem solving skills
  • Ability to manage high degrees of stress
