Job Summary

The University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) is seeking a highly skilled Lead, Collaboration Services to lead the integration of collaboration tools and optimize customer and stakeholder productivity. The successful candidate will provide technical guidance to engineers, work with customers and stakeholders, and identify new tools to enhance the customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the integration of collaboration tools to optimize customer and stakeholder productivity
  • Provide technical guidance to engineers executing modernization initiatives
  • Work with customers, partners, and stakeholders to identify and implement new tools
  • Ensure UCSF's IT infrastructure is operable, secure, efficient, and effective
  • Deliver exceptional information technology services comprehensively and consistently
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer information systems, or related field
  • 7-10 years of experience in collaboration services, network services, or related field
  • Expertise in digital collaboration engineering design, implementation, and maintenance
  • Extensive experience with industry-standard digital collaboration technologies and protocols
  • Advanced knowledge of network systems, network protocols, and topologies
  • Expertise in establishing documentation standards and influencing adoption
  • Advanced proficiency with automation tools such as PowerShell, Unix shell, and application APIs
  • Extensive experience in a leadership or management role, overseeing a team of technical professionals
