Compensation and Benefits:
The salary range for this position is $41.37 - $59.21 per hour. As a valued member of our team, you will also be eligible for a range of benefits, including competitive compensation, flexible scheduling, and opportunities for career growth and development.
Job Description:
This role is responsible for coordinating and delivering quality nursing care to patients in a psychiatric healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will have experience working with patients who have mental health and substance use disorders and be able to provide patient-centered care that addresses the physical, emotional, and psychological needs of each individual.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a graduate degree from an accredited program of professional nursing training and a current unencumbered license to practice as a registered nurse. You will also need to have CPR certification and Crisis Prevention Training (CPI) within 30 days of employment and prior to any patient contact.
Preferred Experience:
Prior experience working in a psychiatric healthcare facility, particularly with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, and geriatric patients, is preferred. Additionally, experience with patient assessments, family motivations, treatment planning, and communication with external review organizations is highly desirable.
