Job Summary:

  • Regulatory Oversight: Manage the submission of essential documents, including financial disclosures, for Reg A offerings with the SEC. Assume a regulatory oversight role in a Reg A Series LLC & Broker-Dealer entity.
  • Public Offering Expertise: Direct the public offering process, collaborating closely with underwriters and investment banking firms. We are particularly interested in candidates with a background in business finance, corporate finance, and strategic corporate initiatives.
  • Financial Evaluation: Perform comprehensive analyses of discrepancies in regulatory submissions, integrating accounting and regulatory considerations. Present financial outcomes to executive leadership and regulatory entities.
  • Compliance Management: Identify and address pertinent regulatory obligations for the issuance of music-related assets via Reg A. Oversee regulatory communications, comment letters, and daily interactions with counterparties.
  • Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work alongside product stakeholders as a financial domain authority to ensure compliance with security offering requirements. Revise policies and procedures as necessary to align with regulatory standards.
  • Reporting and Liaison: Deliver precise and timely reports to executive leadership, business units, and external regulatory bodies. Serve as the primary contact for inquiries related to SEC/FINRA regulations.
  • Industry Regulation: Supervise relevant security laws, regulations, and industry standards to guarantee compliance with organizational operations.

Qualifications:

  • Regulatory Experience: Direct experience with financial services regulators, including FINRA and the SEC.
  • Public Offerings and Capital Markets: Previous experience in capital markets or securities issuance, particularly public offerings.
  • Business Insight: Capability to comprehend business requirements and collaborate with stakeholders to devise practical solutions.
  • Communication Proficiency: Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, with the capacity to articulate complex financial concepts clearly.
  • Project Coordination: Strong organizational and project management capabilities, adept at managing intricate projects in a dynamic environment.
  • Relationship Development: Ability to cultivate and sustain effective working relationships with diverse groups within the organization and with external stakeholders.
