Position Specific Description
We are in search of a proficient and seasoned engineer to join the Power Generation Division's (PGD) EOSS Wind Reliability team.

The ideal candidate will take on the role of product owner for the Wind Business Intelligence (WBI) platform, ensuring the availability and quality of wind site performance data utilized for enterprise-wide reporting and insights.

Interpersonal skills are crucial for nurturing ongoing collaboration with top-tier engineers and executives from various organizations to identify growth and enhancement opportunities.


Responsibilities:


Exhibit a high level of creativity, foresight, and sound judgment in anticipating and resolving unprecedented engineering and technical challenges, defining program objectives and requirements, and organizing programs and projects.

Establish standards and guidelines for diverse Information Technology (IT) activities.

Consult with engineers and technical professionals responsible for data infrastructure, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives, including collaboration with external partners and auditors.

Engage with internal and external stakeholders.
Focus on advanced automated IT processes and improvements in data availability.
Comprehend the PGD data pipeline and address inquiries regarding necessary enhancements.
Work autonomously and manage multiple projects concurrently.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related discipline.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in engineering, science, or a related field.
Experience with project management and budgeting tools and platforms.
Desired Qualifications:
Certified Professional Engineer (PE).
Project Management Professional (PMP).
Six Sigma Certified – Black Belt or Master Black Belt.
Master's Degree in Engineering.
Familiarity with JIRA.
Familiarity with SAP.
Familiarity with Maximo.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Proficiency in Python or a comparable programming language.
Experience in renewable energy.
