The Senior Power Electronics Lead Engineer role is pivotal and dynamic. In this position, you will spearhead the advancement of our innovative power conversion and electrical power system technologies, including Silicon Carbide MOSFETs/power modules, compact electronic packaging, and high-speed digital control systems for new products and markets.
Key Responsibilities
Core Duties
- Conduct the design, development, and evaluation of assigned individual and team projects while adhering to sound engineering principles and business standards.
- Analyze and propose topologies for high power/high density power converters.
- Provide technical guidance to personnel and multi-functional teams involved in the assigned project.
- Formulate and execute plans to fulfill technical requirements of assigned components and systems.
- Lead engineering teams to address organizational initiatives and general challenges.
- Suggest strategies to meet technical and program requirements.
- Participate in and/or present during program reviews.
- Deliver power conversion product solutions through modeling, simulation, design, and analysis of circuits and their controls.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering from an accredited institution with a minimum of 10 years of experience in an engineering environment.
- Master's Degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution or equivalent experience.
- Experience in designing high power/high density power converters utilizing SiC and GaN devices for airborne and military ground vehicle applications.
- Proficiency in system modeling using Matlab/Simulink programming.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership capabilities.
- Effective problem identification and resolution skills.

This position requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. Final offers will be contingent on the ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government.
