The Senior Power Electronics Lead Engineer position is a pivotal and dynamic opportunity. In this role, you will spearhead the advancement of our innovative power conversion and electrical power system technologies, including Silicon Carbide MOSFETs/power modules, compact electronic packaging, and high-speed digital control systems for new product and market introductions.
Key Responsibilities
Primary Duties
- Design, develop, and analyze assigned projects, ensuring adherence to engineering principles and compliance with business standards and product requirements.
- Evaluate and propose topologies for high power/high density power converters.
- Provide technical guidance to teams and personnel involved in the assigned projects.
- Formulate and execute plans to fulfill technical specifications for components and systems.
- Lead engineering teams in addressing organizational initiatives and resolving generic issues.
- Advise on strategies to meet technical and program objectives.
- Engage in program reviews and present findings.
- Deliver power conversion solutions through circuit modeling, simulation, design, and analysis.
- Mentor and develop junior engineering staff.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering from an accredited institution with a minimum of 10 years of experience in an engineering environment.
- Master's Degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution or equivalent experience.
- Experience in designing high power/high density power converters utilizing SiC and GaN devices for aerospace and military applications.
- Proficiency in system modeling using Matlab/Simulink.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal abilities.
- Effective problem identification and resolution skills.

This position requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. Final offers will be contingent on the ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government.
