Position Overview:
We are in search of a proficient and seasoned engineer to become a vital member of the Power Generation Division's (PGD) EOSS Wind Reliability team. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in consulting and collaborating with a team of engineers and technical experts focused on asset performance and data infrastructure.

In this capacity, the individual will serve as the product owner of the Wind Business Intelligence (WBI) platform, ensuring the availability and quality of wind site performance data utilized for enterprise-wide reporting and analytical insights.

Strong interpersonal skills are essential for fostering ongoing collaboration with senior engineers and executives from various organizations to identify growth and improvement opportunities.


Key Responsibilities:


Exhibit a high level of creativity, foresight, and sound judgment in anticipating and resolving unprecedented engineering and technical challenges, defining program objectives and requirements, and organizing programs and projects.

Establish standards and guidelines for a variety of Information Technology (IT) initiatives.

Engage with engineers and technical professionals overseeing data infrastructure to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives, including collaboration with external partners and auditors.

Work closely with both internal and external stakeholders.
Emphasize advanced automated IT processes and enhancements in data availability.
Comprehend the PGD data pipeline and address inquiries regarding necessary improvements.
Operate independently while managing multiple projects concurrently.
Fulfill other job-related responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related discipline.
A minimum of 7 years of experience in engineering, science, or a related field.
Proficiency with project management and budgeting tools and platforms.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certified Professional Engineer (PE).
Project Management Professional (PMP).
Six Sigma Certification – Black Belt or Master Black Belt.
Master's Degree in Engineering.
Familiarity with JIRA.
Experience with SAP.
Knowledge of Maximo.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Proficiency in Python or a similar programming language.
Experience in the renewable energy sector.
