Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Executive Director to lead our team. As an Executive Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our cafes, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve financial objectives by developing and monitoring financial operational plans and budgets.
  • Manage day-to-day operations, including scheduling, planning, and organizing work.
  • Ensure staff compliance with standards and procedures, identify opportunities for improvement, and resolve issues.
  • Manage multiple departments effectively, including conducting weekly meetings with management team to review performance and offer direction.
  • Hire, train, and support café management and staff.
  • Manage direct reports to accomplish performance goals, provide developmental coaching, and guidance for long-term career growth opportunities.
  • Supervise and direct regular training of all staff, ensuring they are trained in guest service, food and beverage operations, loss prevention, and company operating standards.
  • Foster high staff morale and effective performance management.
  • Address café level HR and loss prevention issues by collaborating with HR and LP support partners.
  • Achieve and maintain overall guest service goals through their teams.
  • Develop and implement creative strategies to increase revenue.
  • Increase catering sales revenue through effective management of sales initiatives.
  • Provide consistent and superior food and beverage experience.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable occupational, health, and safety regulations and laws.
  • Monitor café appearance and ensure problems are resolved expeditiously.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred and a minimum of 2-3 years' general management experience.
  • 2-3 years of progressive management experience with staff supervision required.
  • Relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is also acceptable.
  • Thorough knowledge of working POS register systems.
  • Possess a high level of profit and loss capability, and sales and marketing skills and abilities.
  • Flexible, adaptive, upbeat, open, and visible work style, with a successful track record of supporting operations leaders across a large geographically decentralized portfolio.
  • Passion for people, dynamic and engaged leader who has a passion for empowering, inspiring, motivating, and developing team members and franchisee relationships.
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills with the ability to effectively balance priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced, ever-changing, and highly entrepreneurial environment.
