New Product Development and Launch

As a Product Manager at Amphenol RF, you will be responsible for leading the development, release, and marketing of new and existing products. This includes evaluating product gaps and identifying product needs through market research, customer, and field sales feedback. You will develop business plans to justify investment in product development and manage the schedule for the release of new products by working closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality to define customer and market requirements, manage NPD project timelines, monitor testing status, and drive the release processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate product gaps and identify product needs through market research, customer, and field sales feedback
  • Develop business plans to justify investment in product development
  • Manage and drive the schedule for the release of new products
  • Work closely with Marketing to create new product introduction packages
  • Work with Marketing and Distribution teams to position new products in appropriate distributors and promote through the development of targeted marketing campaigns
  • Work with the Global Sales teams to identify target customers and establish a plan to capture opportunities

Additional Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to Program Management and Field Sales teams
  • Work with Marketing to develop training materials for new products
  • Research and understand competitor product offerings, strengths, and weaknesses
  • Lead collection of market data from the Field through VOC activity

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering with five (5) + years of experience or eight (8) plus years direct related experience
  • Excellent communication skills and proficiency in MS OFFICE applications
  • Project management background desired
