Role Summary

As the Production Team Lead, you will help lead the manufacturing team, ensuring efficient and smooth operations while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and productivity. You will play a key role in managing workflows, supporting the team, and achieving production goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Optimize workflows and monitor staff performance to ensure efficient fulfillment, with a focus on customer satisfaction metrics.
  • Lead, train, and support production workers to meet deadlines and minimize delays.
  • Supervise daily operations to increase output.
  • Create training materials and manuals for the production team.
  • Assist with the recruitment and onboarding of new team members.
  • Ensure the facility complies with safety and professional standards.
  • Organize and track tasks to meet production goals.
  • Regularly review production stations to ensure efficiency.
  • Facilitate communication between the production team and senior leadership to ensure alignment with company procedures.
  • Collaborate with purchasing to maintain a steady flow of raw materials and necessary resources.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience, with at least five years of related experience.
  • The ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to write reports and speak effectively in front of groups.
  • Proficiency in basic math skills, including calculating discounts, percentages, and applying algebraic and geometric concepts.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, especially in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Familiarity with MS Office or similar software to complete reports and logs.
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or lead role is preferred.
