Nurse Practitioner

Halifax Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Emergency Department at our Medical Center of Port Orange location.
About the Role:We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in our fast-paced Emergency Department. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing, collecting, and documenting patient data to identify nursing diagnoses and develop individualized care plans.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver patient care utilizing the nursing process, ensuring accurate and timely documentation of patient information.
- Establish, plan, implement, and evaluate individual patient care and discharge plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Provide responsible and accountable nursing care based on established clinical nursing practice standards and in accordance with the Florida Nurse Practice Act.
- Engage in collaborative relationships with peers and other professional disciplines, applying principles of leadership and assuming responsibility for professional growth and accountability.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida.
- Bachelor degree/diploma/associate degree from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Certifications as required by individual unit/area.
- Professionalism in interpersonal communication skills with patients, patient families, colleagues, physicians, and ancillary department personnel.
- Personal professional development, accountability, organization, and leadership in the performance of professional nursing practice.
- Customer-service oriented and able to effectively communicate and build relationships with co-workers and key stakeholders at all levels in the organization.
