We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Halifax Health. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and collaborating with our interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care.
Job SummaryThe Registered Nurse will be responsible for assessing, collecting, and documenting patient data to identify nursing diagnoses. They will also establish, plan, implement, and evaluate individual patient care and discharge plans. Additionally, the Registered Nurse will provide responsible and accountable nursing care based on established clinical nursing practice standards and in accordance with the Florida Nurse Practice Act.
Responsibilities- Assess, collect, and document patient data to identify nursing diagnoses
- Establish, plan, implement, and evaluate individual patient care and discharge plans
- Provide responsible and accountable nursing care based on established clinical nursing practice standards and in accordance with the Florida Nurse Practice Act
- Collaborate with peers and other professional disciplines to provide comprehensive care
- Engage in collaborative relationships with patients, patient families, colleagues, physicians, and ancillary department personnel
- Currently licensed as a RN in the State of Florida
- Bachelor degree/diploma/associate degree from an accredited School of Nursing
- Certifications as required by individual unit/area
- Professionalism in interpersonal communication skills with patients, patient families, colleagues, physicians, and ancillary department personnel
