About the Role
Halifax Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Port Orange - Medical/Surgical Unit. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, utilizing the nursing process to assess, collect, and document data to identify nursing diagnoses.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish, plan, implement, and evaluate individual patient care and discharge plans.
- Provide responsible and accountable nursing care based on established clinical nursing practice standards subscribed to by the American Nursing Association and in accordance with the Florida Nurse Practice Act.
- Engage in collaborative relationships with peers and other professional disciplines, applying principles of leadership and assuming responsibility for professional growth and accountability.
Requirements
- Currently licensed as a RN in the State of Florida.
- Bachelor degree/diploma/associate degree from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Certifications as required by individual unit/area.
- Professionalism in interpersonal communication skills with patients, patient families, colleagues, physicians, and ancillary department personnel.
