Halifax Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Emergency Department at our Medical Center of Port Orange location.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, utilizing the nursing process to assess, collect, and document data to identify nursing diagnoses. This includes establishing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individual patient care and discharge plans.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide responsible and accountable nursing care based on established clinical nursing practice standards.
- Collaborate with peers and other professional disciplines to ensure effective patient care.
- Engage in professional growth and accountability, staying up-to-date with the latest nursing practices and technologies.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, colleagues, physicians, and ancillary department personnel.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Current RN licensure in the State of Florida.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
- Certifications as required by the individual unit or area.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
