About the Role

Halifax Health is seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team in the Port Orange - Medical/Surgical Unit. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and providing exceptional service to our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess, collect, and document patient data to identify nursing diagnoses and develop individualized care plans.
  • Establish, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care and discharge plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
  • Provide responsible and accountable nursing care based on established clinical nursing practice standards and in accordance with the Florida Nurse Practice Act.
  • Engage in collaborative relationships with peers and other professional disciplines to promote effective communication and teamwork.
  • Assume responsibility for professional growth and accountability, staying up-to-date with the latest developments in nursing practice and healthcare.

Requirements

  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Nursing from an accredited institution.
  • Certifications as required by individual unit/area.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to provide exceptional patient care and build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
