About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team at E. & J. Gallo Winery. As a key member of our Sales and Operations departments, you will play a critical role in driving sales growth and expanding our customer base.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute the sales plan for ingredient drying technologies
  • Oversee the creation of commercial quality dried products
  • Maintain business relationships and execute selling techniques to increase sales of proprietary equipment, equipment parts, and in-house drying services
  • Assess market data, leverage pricing models, and make pricing recommendations
Requirements
  • High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate
  • Bachelor's degree plus 4 years of sales experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility
  • Ability to maintain 3 shifts availability and work graveyard shifts when necessary
  • Ability to lift and move drums of product or equipment that weigh up to 55 pounds
  • Color vision and depth perception
  • Experience working in a regulatory environment
  • Ability to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events up to 5% of the time
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, plus 4 years of experience in technical ingredient sales or application development reflecting increasing levels of responsibility
  • Knowledge of chemistry, drying carriers, engineering, and drying techniques
  • Strong instrument troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair skills
