Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Deputy Public Administrator to join our team at Buchanan County, MO. As a key member of our administration team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to the Public Administrator and ensuring the smooth operation of our office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Public Administrator in managing daily operations and providing administrative support.
  • Accurately document phone calls and maintain client files.
  • Forward phone messages to relevant personnel and ensure timely responses.
  • Enter new ward information into our system and maintain accurate records.
  • Schedule care plan meetings and prepare annual status reports.
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail and review documents for accuracy.
  • Respond to ward and protective placement issues and participate in care plan meetings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Public Administrator.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least three years of increasingly responsible related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and ability to learn new software.
