Job Summary:

Conway Services Heating & Cooling is seeking a skilled Scheduler to join our team. As a Scheduler, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our business by coordinating new construction and installation jobs, as well as administrative activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate service or installation schedules with customers or builders
  • Prepare and enter documentation to activate and place scheduled work into our system
  • Take receipt of work orders and enter data for accurate billing of completed work
  • Prepare regular reporting of jobs in progress, backlog revenue, and other departmental data
  • Coordinate inspections after work is completed and provide liaison with inspectors on failed inspections
  • Maintain data related to working job orders, including permits and completed inspections
  • May invoice completed work, process lien forms or releases, and call for payments when bills are overdue
  • Perform administrative functions in support of the department and prepare payroll processing
  • Manage records by creating folders, filing information, and updating records as needed

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required; related experience and/or advanced training may be substituted
  • Previous experience in customer service is desired; basic computer skills and strong communication/interpersonal skills are required
  • Previous experience in service or dispatching is desired; an understanding of air conditioning/heating and/or plumbing is preferred
